Khartoum, Oct. 1 (SUNA) - Ambassador Mohamed Omer Musa has presented his credentials to the Belarusian President, Alexander Lukashenko, as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Sudan to the Republic of Belarus.
The Ambassador conveyed the greetings of the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lt. Gen. Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, to the Belarusian President.
He appreciated firmness of the relations between the two countries and the importance of strengthening the constructive cooperation between them, especially in the economic and development fields, and the exchange of support in the international forums.
On his part, President Lukashenko has welcomed the Ambassador, pointing to the importance of Sudan and the roles it plays in the region and its great natural resources, stressing that all assistance will be provided to the Ambassador to perform his mission.
The Belarusian President asked the ambassador to convey his greetings to the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council.
