Khartoum, Sep. 21 (SUNA) – The Media Advisor of the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and General Commander of the Armed Forces, Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan, Brig. Dr. Al-Tahir Abu-Hajja, pointed out that the participation of Al-Burhan in the meetings of the United Nations’ General Assembly closes down a past chapter in Sudan relations with the West and the United States in particular, and that the darkness of the past will disappear and will not approach at Sudan doors once again. g
He said that a new chapter will begin, based on the mutual respect, the common interests, and the establishment of foreign relations based on correct, accurate, and not erroneous information.
“The information reveals that we, under the leadership of the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief, Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan, is the most eager people for real civil transformation and the most serious for the unity of the people of the one nation and the achievement of external relations that serve the cohesion of the internal front with its political and military components in order to achieve national consensus”, he said.
He stated that time has come to establish a new reality in which there is neither exaggeration nor negligence, a reality in which the West knows the truth of what is happening in Sudan with all transparency, and we the Sudanese know that there must be a minimum, if not maximum, level for openness and honesty with the oneself.
