Khartoum, August 7 (SUNA) - Minister of Animal Resources and Fisheries Hafez Ibrahim has discussed with the Tunisian ambassador to Sudan Chafik Hajji the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries and the implementation of all agreements signed with Tunisia in the field of animal resources.  This came when he met, at his office on Sunday, with the Tunisian Ambassador, Chafik Hajji, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry and other officials.  The minister affirmed that Sudan would meet the needs of Tunisia for meat exports, revealing that a delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture and the Meat Company in Tunisia will visit the country soon to get acquainted with the requirements and prerequisites for exporting meat to Tunisia, stressing the importance of the North African market for Sudan. The minister explained that a delegation of the ministry staff would pay a visit to Tunisia for training in the field of fisheries and fishing, explaining that Sudan would export fish feed to Tunisia, stressing that a committee headed by the undersecretary of ministry will be established to follow up and implement all agreements in the near future. For his part, the Tunisian ambassador said that he discussed with the minister the cooperation between the two countries, exchange of experiences in the field of animal resources and Tunisia's needs of red meat, in addition to cooperation in the field of training in the fish and aquatic sector, underlining his country's readiness to implement agreements and programs between the Tunisian Ministries of Agriculture and the Ministry of Animal Resources in Sudan.
