Genaina, June 25 (SUNA) – Vice – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen, Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, warned that Sudan is facing unprecedented conspiracies made by its people, indicating that this is due to the absence of a rational national vision that elevates the nation's prestige, and gives priority to supreme national.

This came in his address on Saturday IN Genaina, the capital of West Darfur State, to a ceremony for signing the document for cessation of hostilities and peaceful co-existence between Massalit and Rezeigat tribes in the presence of the members of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Dr. Al-Hadi Idris and Al-Tahir Hajar, the Wali (governor) of West Darfur State, Khamis Abdalla Abbakar, the Sultan of Massalit, the executive office of the native administration in Sudan and leadigning figures of the two tribes.

Gen. Daglo said that at this difficult time, the Sudanese must manage their differences through dialogue and Shura (consultation) by themselves, explaining that there are some foreign hands working to demolish the country.

He indicated that the cessation of hostilities document is the beginning of a long and hard work to close the chapter of the differences between the signatory parties, noting that the dispute has created a bitter and painful human reality and caused the displacement of many of the people of the state.

He stressed that the homeland is wide to accommodate all its people, affirming that the government will stand with the right without bias to any tribe or individual and that all citizens are equal before the law and there is no discrimination based on color, race or tribe.

The Vice – President of the Sovereignty Council stressed that the state is determined to resolve all aspects of chaos and insecurity, and that the state will impose its prestige to stop any tampering with the security and safety of innocent citizens.

He said that the native administration has the biggest role to play in addressing small problems before they grow and become difficult to solve, calling for the necessity of the permanent presence of the leaders of the native administration with their people to carry out the tasks of raising awareness and reporting about criminals and saboteurs.

Daglo announced that strict decisions have been issued to the security authorities to deal decisively with any unruly person and not to tolerate the aggressors, pointing out that the coming days will witness the arrival of joint forces to join the forces in the state and to work on establishing security and to secure the agricultural season, villages and camps.
