Khartoum, June 14 (SUNA) - A joint meeting between the Ministry of Labor and Administrative Reform and the Secretariat of the Sudanese Working Abroad (SSWA), which took place today at the Ministry’s headquarters in Khartoum headed by the Minister of Labor and Administrative Reform Suad Hassan Eltayeb, in the presence of SSWA Secretary General Makin Hamid Tairab, stressed the need to control the migration of Sudanese abroad, and to establish labor attachés in Sudan’s embassies abroad, in order to help end negative phenomena.
This is in addition to stressing the need to control the work of external employment offices in accordance with the regulations and terms decided by the Ministry of Labor and Administrative Reform.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed coordination and joint cooperation to combat negative phenomena among the Sudanese in the diaspora countries and organizing joint awareness programs to preserve the dignity of the Sudanese nationals abroad, limit irregular migration, and control the migration movement, while preserving the full right of the Sudanese national to freedom of movement to and from his country in a manner that guarantees his dignity and his right to work in honor and dignity abroad, according to a joint plan to be agreed upon between the two sides.
