Khartoum, June 2 (SUNA) – Acting Director General of the Sudan News Agency (SUNA), Dr. Fikria Aba Yazeed, met in her office here today with a delegation of the Embassy of the Russian Federation to Sudan that comprised press counselor, Consul George Ambartsumyan, and political counselor Vsevolod Popov.

The meeting discussed ways and means of boosting the relations between SUNA and the Russian media by reflecting the news of the two countries.

 The meeting tackled possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding between SUNA and Russia Today TV channel, in addition to exchanging expertise, training and exchanging visits between the two countries.

It is worth noting that Russia Today is a news channel affiliated to the independent, non-profit TV-Novosti organization.
