Daein, April 28 (SUNA) - Governor (Wali) of East Darfur State Mohamed Adam Abdul-Rahman met Wednesday the Director of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD).
The meeting reviewed issues of the agricultural sector in East Darfur and obstacles that face the agricultural season in the state.
The Director of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development, Prof. Ibrahim El Dukheri, said that the organization supports the state in the fields of training, capacity building, and supporting small producers to develop agriculture, improve livelihoods and transfer of technology in the agricultural and livestock sectors.
He pointed out that the Arab League in its last meeting in the Mauritanian capital, Nouakchott, directed to support agriculture in Sudan, considering that Sudan represents one of the most important Arab countries in this field.
